Overview

When Shopify marks an order as fulfilled, the workflow waits seven days so the customer has the product. Then Gmail asks them to rate the order through a short form.

The form answers are saved to a Google Sheet. Ratings of 3 or lower also post a message to your support channel with the comment, so someone can reply while the customer is still interested.

  • Collect product reviews without a manual follow-up
  • Catch unhappy customers within a day of their rating

How to use it

    Download the workflow JSON.

    In n8n, create a workflow, open the … menu, choose Import from File and select the JSON.

  3. 3

    Connect Shopify, Gmail, Google Sheets and Slack on the nodes the sticky note names.

  4. 4

    Put the production URL of the Review form into the email on Ask for review.

  5. 5

    Send a test order and a test rating, check the sheet and Slack, then activate.

Is this n8n workflow free?

Yes. Download the JSON and import it into your own n8n. There is no sign-up and no cost.

Does it include any credentials?

No. The file has no keys or tokens. Connect your own Shopify, Gmail, Sheets and Slack accounts after importing.

Can I change the wait before the email?

Yes. Open the Wait a week node and change the amount, for example to 3 days for fast-moving products.
