Terms of use

These terms apply when you use WorkspaceTemplates.com (the "site") and the templates, documents, spreadsheets, workflows and other files on it (the "templates"). We, WorkspaceTemplates, run the site. By using the site or a template, you agree to these terms.

Using free templates

Free templates are yours to use. You may:

• use them for personal, business and commercial work, including work for clients;
• edit, translate and adapt them as much as you like;
• share the documents you create with them, such as a finished proposal, report or budget.

You may not:

• sell, license or give away the templates themselves, edited or unedited, as templates, for example in a template shop, marketplace or bundle;
• republish them on another website or present them as your own template collection.

Credit is appreciated but not required. Linking to the template page instead of re-uploading the file is the best way to share a template with others.

Premium templates

Some templates are marked as premium. Premium templates are not on sale yet. When they are, the price, licence and refund terms will be shown before you buy, and those terms will apply to that purchase together with these.

Photos, illustrations and other people's work

Some templates include photos from free stock libraries such as Unsplash, which are credited in the template and used under their own licence (for example the Unsplash License). You can keep or replace them. Illustrations and icons we made ourselves are covered by the same terms as the template they appear in.

Copyright complaints

We take care with the work we use. If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright or other rights, email templates@workspacetemplates.com with:

• your name and contact details, and who you act for if it is not yourself;
• what the work is, with a link or other proof that it is yours;
• the address of the page on the site where it appears;
• a statement that you believe in good faith that this use is not allowed.

We will review your report and, where it is justified, remove or replace the material. We may share your report with the person it concerns if that is needed to resolve it.

Trademarks

Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides are trademarks of Google LLC. Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. Notion, n8n and Zapier are trademarks of their owners. We use these names only to say which tool a template works with. WorkspaceTemplates is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of these companies.

Not legal or professional advice

Nothing on the site or in a template is legal, financial, tax, HR or other professional advice, and using a template does not create a lawyer-client or other professional relationship with us. Contracts, agreements, policies, offer letters and similar templates are general examples. They may not suit your situation or meet the law where you are, and the law can change. Have a qualified professional review them before you sign, send or rely on them.

No warranty

Templates are provided "as is". They are starting points, not professional advice. Check that any formulas, figures, automations and wording suit your situation before you rely on them, especially for finance, legal, HR or compliance work. Automation workflows can send messages, move data or call other services; test them with sample data before you connect real accounts.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or a template, including lost data, lost profits or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.

Links to other services

The site links to services we do not control, such as Google Drive, Microsoft 365, Notion, n8n and Zapier. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for their availability or content.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site grows, for example when premium templates go on sale. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Templates you copied or downloaded before a change stay covered by the terms that applied at the time.
