Overview

When a customer places an order in Shopify, the workflow reads the order number, total, currency, customer first name and item count. Those fields are then sent to three places at once.

The order is posted to a Slack channel and added as a row in a Google Sheet. If the total is above 500, the owner also receives an email, so large orders are never missed.

Useful for

  • Keep the team informed of new sales without opening Shopify

How to use it

    Download the workflow JSON.

    In n8n, create a workflow, open the … menu, choose Import from File and select the JSON.

    Connect Shopify on New Shopify order and pick your store.

  4. 4

    Connect Slack, Google Sheets and Gmail on the nodes the sticky note names, and replace the owner address.

  5. 5

    Place a test order in your Shopify test store, check the messages and rows, then activate.

Is this n8n workflow free?

Yes. Download the JSON and import it into your own n8n. There is no sign-up and no cost.

Does it include any credentials?

No. The file has no keys, tokens or store names. You connect your own Shopify, Slack, Google and Gmail accounts after importing.

Can I change the large order limit?

Yes. Change the 500 in the Large order? node to any amount in your store currency.
