Overview

Recruiters spend months attracting people who then discover a different company from the one promised. An employer brand strategy fixes that by setting the employer value proposition, the pillars behind it and the proof a candidate can check. This template covers research, the value proposition, pillars, proof, recruiting channels and a talk track for first calls, so the promise is consistent from the job advert to the first conversation.

The sample is for the fictional Dunlinn Creative, with 120 candidate interviews, 72% offer acceptance against an 80% goal and an employer brand budget of £80k. Replace the research, proof points, pillars and channels with your own evidence, and check each claim against what current staff would say.

Questions

Is this employer brand strategy free?

Yes. Click Make a copy in Google Docs and the file is saved to your own Google Drive, with no sign-up and no charge.

Can I use it for a rebrand as well as a new employer brand?

Yes. Price the change in signage, systems and contracts as well as design, and sequence it so that staff hear first, then candidates.

Are the company, people and figures real?

No. Dunlinn Creative, its staff, interview counts, survey scores and every figure are fictional sample data. Replace them with your own before use.
