A SWOT analysis is only useful if it ends in choices. This report starts with the market context, sets out strengths and weaknesses with evidence, keeps opportunities and threats to outside factors, maps the threats by likelihood and impact, and finishes with a table of priorities, owners and dates.
The sample follows Kettleby Logistics, a regional freight firm with £22.6m revenue, 52 vehicles and a top client at 34% of sales, reviewed on 12 March 2027. Replace the scope, market data, evidence, risks, owners and dates with your own, and share it with two people who disagree with you.
Click Make a copy in Google Docs, then confirm on the Google page. The copy is saved to your own Google Drive.
Replace the context page with the scope you are analysing and the date, and update the market charts with your own data.
Rewrite each strength and weakness with one number or example, and keep opportunities and threats to outside factors only.
Pair the top points into actions in the implications table, with an owner and a date for each.
Delete the guide page, then share the report for comment.
Four to six, each with a number or a source. If you cannot prove a point, cut it. A short list of evidenced points is more useful than a long list of labels.
No. The organisation, the people and every figure in this report are fictional sample data, written to show a complete SWOT analysis. Replace them with your own.
This is a written report with evidence, a risk heat map and an action table. If you need a short presentation, use the SWOT slides template with the same structure.
