Academic Case Study

Free
Prospects and their finance sponsors need to see proof from a customer like them before they agree a budget, so a case study has to show numbers, a baseline and a time frame. This template sets out the story in three pages: the headline figures at a glance, the goals against measured results, and a guide page for replacing the sample text. It keeps the customer's own words near the top, where a champion will look first.
The sample follows Corran Logistics, a fictional customer with 140 staff in four warehouses. Its figures are sample data: $1.2M in verified annual savings, invoicing 38 percent faster and cost per order down 22 percent between Q1 and Q4. Replace the customer, the numbers and the quote with approved details, and keep a baseline and a date range under every result.
Click Make a copy in Google Docs, then confirm on the Google page. The copy is saved to your own Google Drive.
Replace the customer snapshot with your customer's industry, size, region and products used.
Rewrite the challenge in the customer's words, then swap in measured results with baselines.
Paste the approved quote with the speaker's name and title, or delete it if approval is pending.
Delete the guide page, then share the case study or present it to the prospect.
Yes, at no cost. Make a copy and the case study lives in your Drive, with its layout, headings and charts still editable.
No. Corran Logistics, Amberley Solutions, the people quoted and every figure are fictional sample data. Confirm each result with a real customer before you publish.
Yes. Get written approval for the figures, the quote and any logo use before sharing, because the customer's comms team may need to sign off.
