Product Launch Timeline Deck

Timelines go wrong when dates appear without owners, dependencies or any sign of which ones can move. This deck shows the whole project on one milestone line, then a swimlane roadmap, the critical path and a launch plan, with fixed and flexible dates marked.
The sample is the 29-week rebuild of a ferry booking site by Zephyrine Digital, from 11 January to 30 July 2027, with go-live fixed for 19 July. The critical path is 19 weeks, 66% of the project. Replace the axis, phases, milestone dates, owners and assumptions with your own.
Click Make a copy in Google Slides, then confirm on the Google page. The copy is saved to your own Google Drive.
Set the start and end of the timeline and relabel the phases and swimlanes with your own.
Replace the milestone dates, mark which are fixed, and add the owner of each.
Rebuild the critical path using only tasks with zero float, and note the assumptions your dates depend on.
Delete the guide slide, then share the deck or present it.
Six to twelve, with two or three flagged as fixed. More than that and the slide becomes a task list. Keep detail for an appendix and show phases, gates and the critical path.
No. The organisation, the people, the client and every date and figure in the deck are fictional sample data, written to show a complete timeline. Replace them with your own.
Yes. The same layout suits a building project, an event, a product launch or a house move. Change the lanes and phases, and keep the fixed dates and the critical path.
