Org charts go stale within weeks when nobody owns them, and they become unreadable when every person is crammed onto one slide. This deck keeps leadership on one slide and gives each department its own, with spans of control, headcount, a row of key contacts and a slide for vacancies and planned changes.
The sample follows Fallowfield Logistics, a 240-person company with six leaders, 10 open posts out of 250 and three planned changes with dates. Replace the leadership boxes, duplicate the department slide for each team, put the chart date on every slide, and name an owner and review date.
Click Make a copy in Google Slides, then confirm on the Google page. The copy is saved to your own Google Drive.
Replace the leadership names and titles with your own, and confirm each title with the person.
Duplicate the department slide for each team, update names, headcount and vacancies, and delete boxes you cannot keep current.
Put the chart date on every slide, add dotted lines only where they affect decisions, and name an owner and review date.
Delete the guide slide at the end, then share or present the deck.
Aim for no more than 10 to 15 boxes a slide so text stays readable. Show leadership on one slide and give each department its own, as the sample does.
Only after consultation. Many places require you to inform and consult staff representatives first, so check local law before showing proposed structures to a wide audience.
No. Fallowfield Logistics, its people, email addresses and every figure are fictional sample data. Replace them with your own structure before presenting.
