Slides + PowerPoint11 slides
Free
This free Google Slides template gives a hospital department one org chart that people can read on screen or in print. It shows leadership, the clinical teams, the support services that keep theatres and wards running, and who is on call. Each slide labels roles plainly rather than using status language, so staff, managers and partners can find the right person quickly.
The sample is for the surgery department at Marlowe Green Group, a fictional health system, with invented names, roles and cover arrangements. Replace the leadership boxes, the team lists and the on-call details with your own, confirm each title with the person named, and date the chart before you share it.
Click Make a copy in Google Slides, then confirm on the Google page. The copy is saved to your own Google Drive.
Replace the leadership boxes with your own team, and confirm each title with the person.
Duplicate the department slide for each team and update the names and any vacancies.
Delete any box you cannot keep current, and write the date of the chart on the cover.
Delete the guide slide, then share the deck or present it from the first slide.
No. Show leadership and team leads, plus the roles needed to understand cover and escalation. Full staff lists belong in the rota system, where they stay current.
No. Marlowe Green Group, the surgery department and every name and cover arrangement are fictional sample data. Replace them with your own details before you share the chart.
Review it at least every quarter, and update it within a week of any change in leadership, cover or reporting lines, so staff are not sent to the wrong person.
