When an outbreak reaches a site, the first hours decide how much disruption follows, and too many plans are read for the first time in a crisis. This template sets out the triggers, the crisis roles, the remote working rules, hygiene controls and staff communications in plain, directive language, so a manager can act without searching. It is written for employers of all sizes, from a single site to a group.
The sample is for the fictional Greystone Manufacturing, with a trigger to activate within the hour, a rule that a remote office role must log in by 9 a.m. and two weeks of hand gel and wipes on site. Replace the triggers, roles, names and phone numbers with your own, and rehearse the plan within 90 days.
Click Make a copy in Google Docs, then confirm on the Google page. The copy is saved to your own Google Drive.
Replace the Greystone Manufacturing name, the triggers and the crisis team with your own named people.
Store the contact details off site, and rewrite each playbook for the disruptions your site can face.
Delete the guide page, check the phone numbers, then share the plan with the crisis team and every manager.
