Overview

Contractors on a live site need one document that says who is responsible for what, how welfare and permits work, and what to do when something goes wrong. This template sets those answers out in six sections across eight pages: project actions, responsibilities, welfare, permits, a hazard register and emergency escalation, plus a short guide for making it yours. The layouts are ready, so you can spend your time on the site itself rather than on formatting.

Every page carries sample content for Yarrowfield Works, a fictional contractor building a warehouse fit-out on Harbor Street, with names, hazards, owners and dates made up for the example. Replace the crew names, the permit rules and the risks with the ones on your own site, then link each hazard to a risk assessment with a review month.

Questions

Is this site safety template free?

Yes. Make a copy in Google Docs, and you can change everything in it at no cost, without registering anywhere.

Can I change the sections and layouts?

Yes. Everything uses standard Google Docs styles, so you can add or remove sections, change fonts and adjust tables the way you would in any document.

Are the people, site and figures real?

No. Yarrowfield Works, its people, the Harbor Street project, the hazards and every date are fictional and written as a finished example. Replace them with your own before you use the plan on site.
