Overview

This company update template is a ready-made Google Slides deck for founders who run a quarterly all-hands. It leads with metrics, then shipped work, live demos, fundraising, hiring and a question round, in eleven slides that keep the tone honest and conversational.

Each slide uses sample figures for Gorsefield Group, a fictional software startup, including $1.42M of quarterly revenue and 46 new paying customers. Replace the numbers, launches and names with your own, and say plainly what is not going well. Keep the Q&A slide, since the questions are the part people remember.

Useful for

Questions

Are the company and numbers real?

No. Gorsefield Group, its staff, revenue figures and launches are fictional sample content, written to show a finished all-hands deck.

Should we share fundraising news before it closes?

Only what the board has agreed can be shared. Say what is confidential, what is not yet final, and when staff will hear the full news.

How long should an all-hands run?

About forty-five minutes: twenty for numbers and news, fifteen for demos, and at least ten for questions, so people leave with answers.
