A good internship gives students real work and clear support, and gives the employer a fair chance to see who would make a strong hire. This template sets out the programme in seven pages: goals and measures, recruitment, projects, supervision standards, an evaluation scorecard and a make it yours guide. Each page names owners and dates, so supervisors know what they must do and when.
The sample follows a fictional summer cohort of 12 interns at Millrace Logistics, with 11 of 12 projects completed, a 4.6 out of 5 satisfaction score and five offers. Replace the cohort size, projects, pay, dates and contacts with your own, and check the pay and status rules where you operate before any offer goes out.
Click Make a copy in Google Docs, then confirm on the Google page. The copy is saved to your own Google Drive.
Replace the Millrace Logistics name, the cohort dates and the sponsor on the cover and goals pages.
Swap the sample projects, supervisors and contacts for your own, and check the pay and status rules where you operate.
Delete the guide page, check that every target and status matches the evidence, then share or present the plan to supervisors.
