Pre-seed investors back people and insight, not spreadsheets. This deck follows that order: one chart that proves the pain, the problem in four lines, a solution in three columns, why the timing works, the team, an 18-month plan and a specific ask. It is built to be read cold and presented warm.
The sample is Bramblewood Advisory, a software company that helps small charities find and file grant applications, raising £1.2M at £6M post-money for 20 months of runway. Replace the customer quote, evidence, team and ask with your own, and delete any slide that does not apply.
Click Make a copy in Google Slides, then confirm on the Google page. The copy is saved to your own Google Drive.
Replace the one-line pitch, the insight chart and the problem slide with your own customer quote and a number that shows the pain.
Enter your real evidence with the date it is as of, then edit the team slide to show what each founder brings to this problem.
Rebuild the ask so the use of funds adds up to the raise and ties to 18 to 24 months of runway.
Delete the guide slide at the end, then share the deck or present it.
That is normal at pre-seed. Lead with the insight, customer interviews and any pilot, say honestly what you have not proved, and show the milestone the money will reach.
Around eight to ten. This template has eleven including the cover, the guide and the closing slide, so delete the guide before sending and you have a tight deck.
No. Bramblewood Advisory, the people named and every figure and email address are fictional sample data, there to show what a finished pre-seed deck looks like.
