Engineering roadmaps usually list features and hide the work that keeps the product running. This deck makes the trade-off visible. It starts with who the engineers are and how capacity is split between features, reliability and debt, then shows the now, next and later view, the platform migration, the debt trend, a reliability scorecard and the risks.
The sample follows Dunlinn Cloud, with 42 engineers and a 60 / 20 / 20 split of 1,680 engineer-days a quarter. It shows four initiatives with a target metric each, a platform migration in four steps, debt falling from 62 to 38 items and an honest amber and red scorecard. Replace the split, initiatives, metrics and risks with your own, and defend the split with last quarter's actuals.

Replace the team and the capacity split with your real allocation, and back it with last quarter's actuals.
Rename the initiatives and give each one an outcome, a metric and a confidence of high, medium or low.
Update the debt chart, reliability scorecard and risk table with your own numbers and owners.
Delete the guide slide, then share or present the deck.
Because the feature list is only credible if it fits the time engineers really have. Showing the split first stops reliability and debt work surprising stakeholders later.
Only for now, which is committed. Keep next as intent and later as exploration, and label each item with a confidence of high, medium or low rather than promising dates for unscoped work.
No. The organisation, the people and every figure in the sample are fictional. They are there to show what a finished engineering roadmap deck looks like.
