Overview

This template helps you build an emergency fund. The Essentials tab lists the costs you must pay each month, such as rent, bills, food and debt payments. The Plan tab sets how many months you want the fund to cover, and works out the target.

Log each deposit on the Deposits tab. The Dashboard shows the monthly essentials, the target, the amount saved and how many months the fund would cover today, along with a chart of where the essential money goes.

It comes with sample data. Make a copy, then replace the sample costs and deposits with your own. Formulas and charts update on their own.
