Overview
This free Google Docs template gives a listed or reporting company a results press release in the standard order. It opens with the headline numbers, then sets out the highlights, a quote from the chief executive, the financial tables, the outlook with its risks and the contacts. Results are stated against guidance and the prior year, and forward-looking statements are kept apart from results.
The sample is the first-quarter 2027 release for Quillon Capital, a fictional company, with invented revenue, profit, debt and quotes. Replace every figure with audited numbers, reconcile each alternative performance measure, and have legal review the forward-looking note before the release is published.

Delete the guide page, then publish the release at the agreed time or present it from the first page.

Should the release include guidance?
Include guidance only if the company gives it, and state whether it is held, raised or lowered. Explain the reason for any change in one sentence, with the risks that could move the outcome.

Who should approve the release?
