Feasibility Study

Most startup ideas fail on one of four questions: whether anyone wants the product, whether rivals already cover it, whether it can be built for the money, and whether the team can run it. This template works through those questions in order. It has eight pages, from the single feasibility question on the idea page to a verdict page with a decision box, a checklist and named owners, so the study ends with a clear go, no-go or go-with-conditions decision.
The sample follows Cinderfield Partners, a fictional startup that proposes a shared cold store for market gardeners in the Fenland area. Its figures show what the evidence, costs and three financial cases look like when they are written up. Use it as a feasibility report template: replace the interview counts, quotes, cost lines and cases with your own data, keep the verdict first, and check that the body supports it.
Click Make a copy in Google Docs, then confirm on the Google page. The copy is saved to your own Google Drive.
Put your feasibility question and the decision it supports on the idea page before you edit anything else.
Replace the interview counts, quotes and measured data on the evidence and competition pages.
Enter low, base and high cases, then update the cost and revenue tables so the arithmetic still holds.
Delete the make-it-yours guide page, then share the study with your sponsor or present it.
