This template works out the monthly payment on a mortgage from the home price, the deposit, the interest rate and the term. The Home tab holds one row per property, so you can compare offers side by side.

The Monthly tab lists your take-home pay and regular costs, and the Dashboard shows what share of your pay the mortgage would take. The Years tab breaks the loan down year by year, with the balance left and the interest paid in each year.

It comes with sample data. Make a copy, then replace the sample figures with your own. Formulas and charts update on their own.
